Exactly. Gay people are free to own property, live anywhere, do anything, and be treated equally in court. So, how are their rights being violated if we agree that marriage is a hetero institution? It's contrived. On the contrary, they are being used as tools to attack religious freedom. I, as a Christian, do not have the right to redefine Jewish or Islamic traditions. That would be arrogant on my part. Therefore, neither should a secular person or body have the right to redefine my traditions.
