This article makes a good case for the government not being involved in the loan business. The very nature of bureaucrats deciding who gets what and how much is inherently corrupt. It is anti-free market and gives an unfair advantage to "some" businesses and should be abolished. There are many private souces to apply for loans. I can't feel bad for XP and others. They were just looking for taxpayers taking on the risk for developing their ideas. Whatever happened to the true entrepreneurs who assume the risks for their own business ventures, not pursue taxpayers funds?
