Unions should have never been allowed to be formed in the public sector. There's more than enough protection for those workers, as well as it being completely unethical. Even FDR was against it... and he was no conservative, of course. The fact that public unions can bargain for pay raises and goodies from the government is robbery! They are not accountable to the taxpayer AT ALL! I'm not a fan of most private unions TODAY, but at least they have a history (albeit a while ago) at making the workplace better for all. Public unions have no such past. They merely bankrupt us faster.
Of course the talk about the exploited worker baloney is just that... baloney. With the regulations and laws today, very few workers are "exploited."
