Exactly, John! You are finally on the right track. If Obama want to raise taxes, let him. But raise taxes on those who create no wealth for the nation. Adam Smith cited actors an one of the great examples of those who create no wealth. Others included in that category are; gamblers, TV personalities, singers, stock brokers (another type of gambler), hedge fund managers, the vacation industry, lobbyists, community organizers, union bosses, political pundits and campaign advisors, ..... Tax these all you want and not one cent of wealth will be lost. And no net jobs will be lost either. Then reduce taxes on those who do the real wealth and job creation; the manufacturers, drillers, miners, retailers, shippers, engineers, ...
