Mitt had a major deficit that stemmed from his governorship. While I voted for the guy it was difficult to see any chance for his election. His argument against obamacare, the major reason for the midterm election success of the repubs, was almost incoherent knowing the healthcare plan he designed. His argument was that romneycare was the right plan for his state but the wrong plan for the nation. Ok; why? Because he governed a blue state? Because it's a state's right issue? Mitt was the logical choice pre-Obama but the wrong choice after the progressive resurgence. We put up a clearly progressive governor, who adopted quasi conservatism as a means to election, against a progressive president who barely had to show for the debates.
