Sometimes yes, sometimes no. You may not think employees hunt down unions and I happen to know that they do. I worked at a plant where some of the people who weren't as productive with their time contacted a union and we ended up having a vote on it. The majority of the employees voted No. We all got raises and the troublemakers ended up without raises again. Eventually they left probably to cause trouble elsewhere.
