Dennis...your article encapsulates what many of us already know. However, when I read the comments reacting to the article, I can not help but see how obtuse the responding commentators are with regard to the reality of the conflict. And it is not helped by the fact that the history of the region is lost to those elites reporting on it, the moral equivalency (as demonstrated in your article) argument, and the failure to discern between good and evil. For the readers, why is it that everywhere Islam touches another country, another religion, another Islamic sect, there is always conflict? Check it out: Philippines, Thailand, India, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Egypt, Azerbijan, Bosnia, Serbia, Chechnya, Sudan, now in Europe and growing to the US?
