Excellent commentary, Hugh. I was born in 1964, and whoever decides these things says I am a baby boomer. But I was born 21 days before the supposed end of that generation, so I refuse to be lumped in with that gaggle of idiocy. By and large, the boomers are a spoiled, vacuous generation, and as they are the leaders and they are legion, they bear a large part of the responsibility for the morass in which we find ourselves. Of course, most of them weren't Alinskyite terrorists, but how many more looked the other way and even perhaps winked at them? The sad thing is that their children are now coming to adulthood and are as morally and intellectually empty as their parents, if not worse.
