REPUBLICANS MUST SEIZE THE INTIATIVE and offer a real tax cut to the Middle Class. What Boehner and the GOP must do is pass a bill called The American Middle Class Tax Relief Act. This would extend the Bush rates for top income earners while lowering tax rates for middle class familes by 10% to 20% from the Bush rates. This bill would be tremendously popular with the public and pull the rug from under Obama's bogus claim of lowering taxes for the middle class by simply extending the Bush rates for them..
