Like you, I hoped that Romney would win over Obama. Unlike you, I had the sense not to make any confident predictions. Your effrontery in offering policy advice now, after being proven so dismally wrong about the election, brings to mind the words with which Oliver Cromwell dismissed the Long Parliament: "You have sat here far too long for any good that you have done. Go. For God's sake, go." (Not exact, but close.) You, too, Mr. Barone, should hie thyself into well-deserved obscurity--at least for a few months, until we forget what a d--n fool you made of yourself just two weeks ago. For now, go. Say no more.
