The author's arguments against Islam are completely spurious. His criticism of the President is short sighted in the extreme. The US for the last 5 or 6 decades has been running the Middle East like its own little fiefdom and now that era has ended. You can be an ignoramus like this author or you can get with the new paradigm, as difficult it is for American exceptionalists to understand. The US is no longer the only big cheese in the world! Get it? GW Bush and his Republican neocon thugs changed that big time. Get used to it. Meanwhile intelligent people like the President are making the hard choices necessary to make sure the US remains one of the important pieces on the chess board.
