This is a ridiculous post. Compromise? The taxpayers has been compromising on the government spending side. Where has the "compromise" been on spending restraint or budget reductions by the executive and legislative branches? If the government spends a ridiculously large and increasing percentage of GDP giving them more and asking them to stop isn't going to work...or better stated, never does. Then there is the reality that raising taxes doesn't necessarily result in higher revenue but reducing taxes does...whenever its tried. If you don't acknowledge the government overspending or the best way to raise revenue then you are just talking inside the beltway claptrap.
