@ nodeamass I knew a few poor suckers who signed up for the military...at least none of them pretended it was for anything other than a ready job and/or the bennies/training associated w/it...the BS about "honor" and "serving the country" is just something aholes tell themselves to make themselves feel better... How much cheaper would a NON-MILITARY govt. work/jobs/training program have been?
