It's not like he did anything for Illinois or Chicago. For some reason enough people are confident that he can fix things, based on the Chicago and Illinois example of excellence, that they voted him in to do the job. By the way Chicago is more dangerous than it has been in a long time, with skyrocketing violent crime, and Illinois in general remains broke despite a huge increase in taxes.
