Pat I am a small business owner, and I can tell you that even group healthcare is expensive. Take the hourly wage of your employee, add the cost of workman's compensation, ten percent or so for the portion of their taxes and Social Security that we as the employer pay, as well as numerous other expenses, and the numbers add up quick. I am a strong supporter of high deductible health insurance. Whether or not that will pass the minimum standards of ObamaCare(yet to be determined) remains to be seen.
