Mike Adams says: "We push to legalize the execution of rapists who impregnate women through force, instead of executing "their" babies. " So, following the logic of this argument, rapists that do NOT cause pregnancy should be spared execution. How exactly is causing a pregnancy an aggravating circumstance, unless one believes that siring a child is itself a crime? And if we start executing rapists, what will stop them from murdering their victims to prevent them from testifying? If they are going to be executed anyway, why wouldn't they kill the witnesses? And if rape is a crime worthy of the death penalty, why aren't robbery, assault, kidnapping, and maiming also capital crimes?
