Uh, no. For starters: Military personnel have enough to worry about that they don't need to add insurance shopping to it. Military personnel are often very young and would be clueless - you'd have to build a bureaucratic infrastructure just to educate them on this very confusing world. Military personnel who don't purchase insurance (and there would be some) would not be fulfilling their contracts with the government. Standard insurance does not cover some of the catastrophic injuries our guys are coming back with. Standard insurance does not cover treatment outside the United States.
