His religion had nothing to do with my not voting for him. Contrary to what the religious bigots say, Mormonism, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, IS a Christian religion and not a cult. I didn't vote for him because he is a liberal; I believed him to be an Obama clone and he just did not give me a reason to vote for him as I hoped he would. Therefore, as an Independent and a conservative, I voted for a 3rd party ticket.
