Your words speak to the reply I just posted to Coveyrise, below. Your frustration is palpable, and correctly placed. If not for the lily-livered republican party leadership, we'd have put forth a much stronger candidate, a true conservative. But the hand-wringing leadership of the party doesn't want that battle--they're timid and cowering; afraid to be bold. We, the rank-and-file, ARE bold, and we are not afraid. If the GOP does not cleanse itself of these "liberal" republicans, the party will continue to lose national elections. I, for one, am not going through this again--trying mightily to drag an inferior candidate (albeit one far, far better than Obama) across the finish line.
