No this is an admission by government that government programs run by political interests are just an ever expanding waste of money to buy votes. Local control by people who actually care about people is much better. Every week my church receives a few calls requesting that the church pay a persons cable bill or a cell phone bill. We will not disburse cash to anyone. If a family is hungry, we simply ask that they attend a service and we will have a bag of groceries for them to pick up after the service. So far no takers on the groceries. A equivalent government program would have given these scammers free rent, a free cell phone, free food stamps, cable, and job training for doing Nothing! Which program do you think is a more effective?
