Twinkies have been around since the 30's, and back then there was no concern about transfat and empty calories. Childhood obesity is a recent development due mostly to the popularization of television and video games. Its a sedentary lifestyle that makes kids fat, not a delicious creme filling in the middle of a tasty chocolate cake surround by yummy chocolate icing. In Obama;s economy most everyone has had to cut back and make sacrifices, but the unions feel like they're above that. I took pay cuts and I have a job. All the unons have done is kill a wonderful thing like Ding Dongs...oh yeah and put 18500 people out of work. I bet the union leaders have plenty of emergency cash stashed away.
