Cleo, I've never argued that there is not a creator. I only argue that whatever that force is is unknowable, as evidenced by the spirited disagreement here today about the characteristics of Mary. Seems to me if God wanted us to know how everything works, He'd have made sure everyone, Muslims and Jews, Christians and Buddhists, all got the same, correct, message. Instead, we live in a world powerfully divided along religious lines. So, either God has NOT sent us the truth (regardless of what all the priests and pastors and prophets have told us), or He's awfully damned inefficient in how that gets done. If God can create the world in 7 days, why can't he get a mere 7 billion people to agree on Him.
