The Constitution is about the form of the government - a representative republic with a federal system leaving as much to the states, local governments and individuals as possible - restricting its functions, and protecting the liberty and rights of the individuals. Underlying this are the principles named in the article. The problem is the way people view human nature and the purpose of society and government, arguing about costs may be stating truth but it is not the source of the problems and not the way to change minds and hearts. Of course, proving to them that the economics of the liberals leads only to failure and does not help anyone except the power seekers helps. How do we make such issues clear and convince the youth?
