And why would you assume that those gay Scout leaders want to do anthing other than to help the kids become good Scouts. Don't the kids go to meetings with den mothers? Do you think those moms want to get the boys into bed? Do dads who help with Campfire Girls get booted out? The kids themselves are discriminated against if they're gay or atheist. What generally happens is that a kid goes all through the scouting experience -- Cub Scouts, Webelos, Boy Scouts and even up to Eagle Scout before he is sure of his sexual orientainon. If he's gay and wants to be open, he is stripped of every badge and achievement he has earned over 10 years of scouting. What a GREAT lesson for a kid who is already feeling confused and vulnerable!
