For me, and our international coalition, it was always more about the cease-fire that Saddam Hussein refused to cooperate with, his repeatedly breaking 17 U.N. sanctions, and his saber-rattling that he was pursuing WMD's that forced to U.S. to call off the cease fire on our part, and finally respnd to all his offenses. The world is better without him. Whether or not really, really dangerous weapons were found was kind of irrelevant in the long run. he had shown he was willing to lauch scud missles or invade neighbors in the 90's. We only let him live because he agreed to certain terms with the world after Desert Storm. He broke all of those terms.
