What a legacy Larry Elder received from his father! I am so grateful for the legacy I received from my ancestors. All of them worked. I worked full time as an internist until I was 75-retiring in 1997.
Larry Elder is on my list of admired non-whites. That list gives me some hope for blacks (I was taught to refer to them as "colored people-(whites have more different colors than do blacks or Negros, but I will refer to them by any term that they choose. If they want to be called "people of color," or "black" it's okay with me. I really do not like the term African-American. Many who refer to themselves that way have ancestors who have been here hundreds of years, or, at least, many decades. The ancestors have been out of Africa a long time.
