The Republicans lost the youth vote for a simple reason. To use a college metaphor...the Republicans and their policies acted like the super snooty fraternities and sororities who tell the vast majority of college students that they are the "other people" - they just don't fit in and deserve to be part of the privileged elite. Funny how the unwanted (or unwashed in Republican eyes) can hit back and make it count.
