Mitt Romney was a capable, experienced, moral candidate. He lacked the charisma to allow voters to lift him up and carry him to victory. Despite the negativity, the right candidate could have prevailed. However, Republicans seem to be unable to provide the party with truly charismatic leadership. John Boehner is a boring speaker, albeit good at his job. Hopefully, he will not have "earned" the Republican nomination for President at the next round. Why the party can't find suitable, winning candidates is a mystery. The Republicans also seem to lack the ability to convincingly and actively communicate their views and programs while pointing out failures the democrats pursue and promote.
