Do you deny that there is a stigma associated with homosexual relationships and that homosexuals frequently change partners in order to avoid notice and discovery. Encouraging faithful relationships WILL reduce the transmission of STDs because transmission is comes from an infected partner and is abetted by frequent changes of partners. Of course heterosexuals get STD's, but if marriage begins with two uninfected partners and they remain faithful, neither is apt to contract an STD (yes, some infections come from non-sexual activities).
