Republicans absolutely MUST field better candidates if they ever want to be taken seriously. Mitt Romney, though an admirable and accomplished man that would have made an excelent President, was just not suited to taking down the most slobbered-over icon the left has had since FDR. Like McCain, Romney took the high road in a campaign to lead a nation mired on the low road. He should have been viscious and aggressive - like Obama. Then there is the Tea Party's foisting of some of the WORST candidates ever - Todd Akin and Richard Murdoch, both of whom seem to live in the 1950s and cost the GOP Senate seats in states overwhelmingly carried by Romney. You have to be all kinds of stupid to do that, and they did.
