"Folks, marriage is not about freedom. It is a social contract about responsibilities and obligations. The government, at any level, has no significant interest in supervising the relationship between two (or three, or four...) people of the same sex regardless of whether or not they are engaging"
Then why do they grant marriage licenses and why do conservatives support this privilege? As for "social contract", allow me to vomit over this repulsive concept. Conservatives rail against "social justice", but then whip out the "social contract" canard when it suits their ends.
