Having read a fair chunk of Sanger's writings, I find that, ironically, she was at least nominally anti-abortion. She felt that getting the black community to buy into birth control in a big way was a more efficient way of reducing the black population - better that they should not conceive in thefirst place, than that we have to waste resources on abortion. And of course, there's always the fallback option of sterilization - voluntary or otherwise. She was quite the piece of work, Ms. Sanger was.
