It isn't about the GOP. It isn't about elections. It isn't about courting the vote of the young, Hispanics, Asians or Africans. It isn't about hot-button issues such as immigration. It certainly isn't about working with the democrats. It's about sticking to the right principles - morality (in the absolute sense, without exception), the Constitution, and limited government. The GOP has waffled on these to its defeat. If the GOP would just mind these principles, I think it might be a lot better off.
