It IS different unfortunately. Patraeus is military and thus judged by way of 'conduct unbecoming to an officer' as well as the rubric of needing to be un-blackmailable. He failed at this and probably needs to go. Yeah, I know the same ideas technically apply to a president but it's expecting a lot for a non-military Democrat to believe in them.
