Sure you did. Every conservative I know, including myself, believes that treating the "the least among you" means charitable giving of time, money, etc. at the individual or organizational level; providing a hand up rather than a handout, which is the opposite of the liberal view. To liberals, taking care of "the least among you" must be accomplished by forcibly taking money from others, using a significant portion of it to pay bureaucrats' salaries, then distributing the rest to organizations it deems ideologically worthy. The Your "Catholic" vice-president, who says his faith defines him, apparently forgot that it includes him, too. What did he give to charity, something like .01% of his salary?
