As one who served my country in 1970 when I first went in, I took an oath to protect my country against all enemies both foreign and domestic. Once again I feel some stirrings to serve again should this country continue to get too far off the track of freedom. That is the situation that the second amendment was written into our Constitution for. Our Declaration of Independence states: "whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends (life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness), it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government". Of course we hope that that does not become an absolute necessity.
