Snookems: A person cannot be born a Christian, as it is not same as being a certain race or gender. A person becomes a Christian by choice. Parents may send their children to religious schools, but the child may not accept the school's teachings. People can be forced to observe Christian traditions, but they cannot be forcibly "converted". And yes, examples of this exist throughout history. But in order to truly become a Christian, one must choose it freely. Belief is in the mind of the believer, not in the observance of rituals.
