I can't believe I fell for this HOAX, at first. By now, most media has corrected this error. Even the source Katie cites, WAFF, has corrected it, and says: "Decatur Utilities wrongly assumed they would have to agree to the union contract before traveling to New Jersey to help with recovery efforts. The IBEW said in times of crisis, help is welcomed from union and non-union utility workers." Decatur Utilities has released a statement which says: "At no time were our crews 'turned away' from the utility in Seaside Heights." Trinity & Jo Wheeler also say it's not true. Despite how you feel about unions, this story is till bogus. If Katie feels ethics is important, she should correct it as well.
