Brian and Garrett, my take on the 2012 presidential election is that the country has simply not fallen far enough economically to have the desperation necessary to replace a sitting president. In 1979, after a quarter-century of Great Society social spending led to double-digit inflation, interest rates, and unemployment, Americans WERE desperate enough to put the MSM-bashed "B Movie Actor" in the White House. By 2016, we will be ready again for the Republican message . . . in fact, we'll be "desperate" for it!
