How odd you should mention this. I distinctly remember back in 1978 when we in the military had the exact same problem under President Carter because of low pay, inflation, and burgeoning gas prices. When we voted a Republican into office, our pay was increased so that our military families didn't need to use food stamps. How is it that the right lost the White House because of this? Has it crossed your mind that perhaps the current military members have listened to what we veterans had to say? There's a reason the Democrats don't want the military to have easy, guaranteed access to a ballot that gets counted. We know well that while both Democrat and Republican presidents will use the military, the Democrats promptly forget about them.
