Well two consenting adults of the same sex were not able to marry legally and hopefully now in three more states they can, so that is a step towards equality. Yeah, yeah, I know your rebuttal is that gay people always had equality as they were free to marry someone of the opposite sex. Wouldn't it be hilarious if a gay man took advantage of that "equality" and married your daughter (or other close relative if you have no unmarried daughters)?
