When I hear goodly, but stupid conservatives blame Barney Fwank for the 2008 financial meltdown, I can't help but think of the Holocaust. Adolf Hitler blamed the Jews for Germany losing WWI. This sounds like the Republican party blaming Fwank for the 2008 financial meltdown. Hitler needed a scapegoat, so the Jews were his convenient scapegoat. Adolf Hitler told the German people a lie. (which help lead to the Holocaust) Germany lost WWI because the German people fought a two-front war. The same EXACT reason they went on to lose WWII, another two front war.
