All we need to do to begin to fix this mess in DC is to attach the demand that any legislation before Congress must first prove some Constitutional requirement for its existence. If there is such a requirement in the Constitution, the legislation can go forward. If not, it dies then and there. Another suggestion: Any legislation that is proposed must be in simple English that any citizen can readily understand. After posting it on the internet and in newspapers or other media for a week, representatives should hold some sort of meetings in their home states to determine how their constituents want them to vote on it.
