A lesson to be learned
As a Black man I can surly appreciate America proving to itself that it is not a racist nation by the election of Barrack Hussein Obama. However, affirmative action is just not the way. It never has. You don't do anyone any favors by using it. Blacks, minorities, women don't need to be the object of guilt or pity. They need to be held to the same standards as anyone else.
If you remember, the qualifications were just not there.Community organizer? Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayres, his radical wife, his tendency toward socialism and class warfare all should have been red flags. I understand the aesthetics...tall, attractive, articulate, popular, cool, etc. I get that. But what happened to substance and character?
