I was born in 1948 and I do not consider myself entitled to anything more than what the Constitution guarantees me.
Maybe that is because I was born at home, in a three room shack with dirt floors, in the foothills of NW Alabama. Where the closest hospital was 30 miles away. Where my dad farmed and worked in a sawmill for 25 cents an hour. Where the doctor made house calls using horse and buggy, and my grandmother delivered me, for my dad (by foot) had gone for the doctor and they had not arrived yet.
I voted for McCain, because I did my homework and ignored Obama’s rhetoric. What little I found out about Obama made my choice of McCain easy.
