Rosa Parks was a true hero, even for me, a white gal. I was young and couldn't understand why anyone could dictate where she could sit on public transportation. It's was foreign to me. The more I learned about the South and it's prejudices towards color, I wondered where did it come from. Who were these ugly Americans who could hate another for absolutely NO reason, other than a darker skin? I too, grew up with the outhouse, no plumbing in the house, and carried buckets of water from a stream about 1/4 mile away. I realized people that hate are full of fear, fear of the unknown, suspicious of others, insecure in their own skin. If we can learn character matters we can vote for Mitt, NOT because he's white, but because he's what we need
