NPR's national poll released today had a D+7 Sample and still finds Romney ahead by 1. Given that this election is likely to be evenly Split or slightly Republican as far as the actual vote goes I would say Obama is in for a Carter like beatdown next Tuesday. It's easy to see that the underlying assumptions of these polls are a far cry from reality with the early voting totals that are known and the enthusiasm gap favoring Republicans this cycle. I'm sticking with Romney 52-47 and at least 295 in the EC but possibly as high as 337 if it turns into a severe blowout which I think is possible but not likely. I don't see any path for Obama barring a major shift in the next 7 days. Only decision now is which Champagne to celebrate with next Tues
