Newspapers used to present a variety of viewpoints Today they parrot one another in a very predictable fashion. They traded reporters and editors with racial homogenicity for homogenous viewpoints. The digital age is the new free speech venue. Thoughts, ideas, and information are no longer held hostage by the information gatekeepers of old. And as more people recognize this fact, the old guard media outlets will shrink and fade away. Perhaps the NY Times should write and print their own obituary.
