The person who commented that children need a more individualized education is smart. We were blessed to homeschool 2 of our 4 children through 9th grade. We never needed to come near the price per pupil they ask for in the public school setting...yet, as their teacher, I knew their strengths and their weaknesses and could tailor their specific subjects in a way that would best move them forward. Inclusion is nuts for all them where they need to be, not beyond nor behind. Toss out all materials that have the "new agenda" in mind. To the one who said, "not all should be geared toward college....YES!" I was a terrible student and was told by counselors, "Forget college. Find something you'll enjoy doing."
