While technically true, this would lead to loosing his US citizenship if it was ever brought up. Many countries do allow for dual citizenship, but the US is not one of them. The act of applying for citizenship to another country shows allegiance to that other country and is grounds for revocation of ones citizenship, even the citizenship of natural born citizens. Not don't get me wrong, there are plenty of US citizens who have citizenship with another country. This is because contrary to what a lot of conspiracy theorist believe the government isn't out there monitoring your every move. It is only an issue if the dual citizenship comes to light.
